The Cisco CCNP Security certification program has been updated to address market requirements for network security engineers with a thorough understanding of a holistic, end-to-end network security posture.
Beginning January 21st, Cisco and Pearson VUE will be offering opportunities to take the following new CCNP Security exams:

Резюме: если вы так же, как и я, начали сдавать CCNP Security по старому треку, то у вас, так же как и у меня, есть возможность получить статус CCNP Security до 21 апреля 2014 года. Или сдавать новые экзамены, по которым лично я пока что не видел материалов для подготовки (букстор от Cisco не выдает никаких вариантов для покупки официальных гидов для самоподготовки). Боюсь, что ситуация будет похожа на обновление CCNA R&S, когда материалы вышли только через 3 месяца после обновления курса. Но тогда об обновлении объявили за 8 месяцев, а тут внезапно поставили перед фактом, что все, уже обновлено.
В общем, удачи всем в подготовке к экзаменам! Новым или старым...

- 300-207 Implementing Cisco Threat Control Solutions (SITCS)
- 300-208 Implementing Cisco Secure Access Solutions (SISAS)
- 300-209 Implementing Cisco Secure Mobility Solutions (SIMOS)
